As the anticipation for fall builds I can't stop dreaming about stomping around in boots paired with these amazing purple skinny jeans that just arrived at Studio 1220. As Fall is quickly approaching it's time start thinking about what new friends you need to invite into your closet. Fall is the best season for fashion, probably because the weather permits you to wear just the right amount of clothing (at least over here on the west coast). Denim jeans are by far the most iconic garment ever produced. I can say without a doubt in my mind that I don't know a single person that doesn't own a pair of denim jeans. Although they've been around forever denim trends are ever changing and have been on the rise (to the relief of many) since a couple years ago when the cuts were at the lowest of lows.

 Have no fear, Sheer is here! Okay, okay, this is probably the complete opposite of what most of you were thinking when you saw the new sheer trend. All these sheer tops and blouses and no idea how to wear them. Most people assume they can't pull this look off but don't be so quick to turn away, there's more then one way to rock the sheer look. The 'not so soft' side of fashion

There's this fantastic thing happening in fashion, yes I'm talking about the 90's revival or "grunge" era. I know some of your stomachs are turning just thinking about it but don't be so quick to turn up your nose. This is a much needed embrace and reminder of all things that are rebellious and free spirited. And not too worry, 2012 is keeping it cleaner than 1990, so don't toss out your hairbrush just yet. Color blocking is a trend that's been around for awhile now but is showing itself more and more in our summer wardrobe. Being somebody who normally sticks to muted and earthy tones, these bright new hues were a lot for me to try to take in, let alone wear on a daily basis but there is a certain aspect of combining these contrasting colors that makes you feel artistic and individual. Even if everyone is doing  it, this is a trend that you can truly make your own.
