Studio 12.20 first opened its doors in 1996 at 1220 Cleveland in the heart of eclectic Hillcrest, San Diego.The concept for Studio 12.20 came about through the owners' love and appreciation for shopping in small, intimate boutiques around San Diego. However, while these venues where inviting and unique, the items for sale were often too high priced and out of reach.
Soon an idea was born. Would it be possible to combine a beautiful, special environment where all the clothes were not only different, but also affordable? After months and months of research and searching, the owner team of husband and wife Song Bledsoe and Heather Payne opened the first Studio 12.20.
While the initial location in Hillcrest no longer exists, four locations around San Diego including Carlsbad, Del Mar, Point Loma and Coronado, carry an array of clothing, footwear and gifts, all at savvy prices.
