Color blocking is a trend that's been around for awhile now but is showing itself more and more in our summer wardrobe. Being somebody who normally sticks to muted and earthy tones, these bright new hues were a lot for me to try to take in, let alone wear on a daily basis but there is a certain aspect of combining these contrasting colors that makes you feel artistic and individual. Even if everyone is doing it, this is a trend that you can truly make your own.

One thing I've always disliked about summer is denim shorts. Don't get me wrong, they're the perfect compliment for a band tee and some vans but other then that they're just too boring for me! However, it seems like things are looking much brighter this summer. Not only are their bright hues of denim cutoffs galore but there's also studs EVERYWHERE!
Crochet tops are a hot ticket this summer and there is no lack of them here at Studio 1220, however, there does seem to be some lack of realization when it comes to the endless outfit possibilities these bad boys have!
